Founded in Montreal in 2015 by creator and entrepreneur Mélanie Pilote, Melanie Stones is a contemporary jewelry house that celebrates authenticity, femininity, and the courage to be fully oneself.

Originally from the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region, Mélanie, an artist at heart, developed a deep love for creation and an innate sense of beauty at a very young age.

Her path first led her to the sciences, where she earned degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Actuarial Science, before pursuing a career in consulting in the field of pension fund asset management, a career that would span nearly 25 years.

At the age of 42, while a young mother and feeling the call of entrepreneurship, she embarked on a journey of self-discovery that allowed her to uncover the essence of her identity: the ability to recognize true beauty.

Already creating jewelry in her spare time, she became driven by the desire to design meaningful high-end jewelry. She began by crafting bracelets made of fine gemstones in her kitchen.

Today, each creation is imagined by Mélanie and crafted in Montreal, in collaboration with renowned gemologists and exceptional jewelers recognized for their expertise and precision.

As the designer behind the Melanie Stones collection, Mélanie personally selects every gemstone for its natural brilliance, harmony, and unique character, and remains involved in every stage of the creation process.

At the heart of the Melanie Stones universe are pearls—timeless symbols of femininity, softness, and transformation—along with fine gemstones and diamonds.
