My name is Mélanie Pilote, and I am the founder of Melanie Stones and Maison Melanie. Although I hold degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Actuarial Science, I have always been deeply drawn to creativity and design.

In 2014, I made the decision to leave my career as a pension investment consultant to pursue my entrepreneurial dream. It was through a journey of self-discovery—one that revealed my gift for recognizing true beauty—and by realizing my deep fascination with gemstones that I found my calling in jewelry design.

It all began in my kitchen, where I started handcrafting gemstone bracelets. To my delight, they quickly became beloved by my clients, many of whom tell me they wear their bracelets every single day with pride.

My father once told me, "Mélanie, you're always striving for perfection."

Those words have stayed with me ever since. Every day, I strive to honor that philosophy by creating exceptional jewelry in collaboration with some of Montreal's finest gemologists and master jewelers.

Every design begins with me, and I personally select each gemstone and pearl that becomes part of my creations.

Whether I am creating a natural gemstone bracelet or a bespoke diamond jewel, my goal is always the same: to create timeless pieces that are as meaningful as they are beautifully crafted.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients choose or create jewelry that truly reflects who they are. The trust they place in me is a constant source of inspiration and a daily reminder of what an incredible privilege it is to be part of life's most meaningful moments.

I could never have imagined where this journey would lead me, or the incredible response my jewelry would receive from so many wonderful clients. Looking back, I can say without hesitation that every step of this adventure has been worth it.
